Mesh Bracelet Tutorial
Have you noticed the latest bracelets to break out on
the fashion scene can be made with many of the products that we stock online and instore and our wire mesh tubing is on sale for just $0.50 per metre? These fabulous bracelets can either be made elegantly in the black or white tones, or fun and colourful in the brighter colours.
To make your very own mesh bracelet:
Cut a piece of wire mesh tubing about 15cm long. Put a large drop of E-6000 glue on one end of the
tubing and also inside the 7mm spiral end cap. Insert the end of the mesh into the spiral end cap and allow to dry for at least 2 hours.
From the other end, fill the hollow mesh tubing with a mix of glass crystal beads. We have found that the 6mm bicone glass beads work best. For an extra sparkle, consider using swarovski crystals!
Once the tubing is full to the length you want, pull the tubing tight over the beads. Cut off any excess and apply a large
drop of glue to the end of the tubing. Apply another large drop of glue to the inside of the other spiral end cap. Insert the tubing into the end cap and hold in place for about 2 minutes or until the glue has a chance to take hold. Allow to dry for 48 hours and your bracelet is ready to wear.
