As we start
the frosty descent into the colder months here in Victoria, I hope everyone is taking advantage of some of our mild & sunny days of late to get some quality outside time in before we all hibernate! Of course, the upside to cold months is cozy books by the fire, and of course, more time for beading!
This month we have another great special (chain down to $2!) and some new products online. We also have an upcoming closure at our Toomuc store - read on for full
details.
|
This month we have concentrated on getting some of our clearance hematine beads up online. Note that the majority of these are online only: |

UPCOMING CLOSURE: 11th May |
Please note that our Toomuc Valley store will be closed Wednesday 11th May, due to a "scheduled" power outage. Our Cheltenham and online stores will be open as usual, however due to the power outage, orders may take a day longer process. We apologise for the inconvenience. |
| Citrine (the yellow variety of quartz) is a heated version of amethyst (the purple variety of quartz). Although it does happen naturally, most of the citrine available on the market
these days has been heated to achieve the golden tones we see.
Amethyst is susceptible to intense sunlight, and it is recommended that amethyst pieces are kept away from extended periods in direct sunlight, to reduce the chance of fading. |
