With the New Year in full swing, we hope that you had a peaceful holiday period. I personally managed a beach holiday with the family, as well as a couple of days away from it all hiking through the Alpine National Park. I'm now exhausted (funny how that happens on holidays!) and not quite ready to face the new year head on!

Our latest set of beading classes is now available to see on our website! Come along and join in on the fun and excitement of jewellery making, with classes available for those just starting out, to the more advanced. Class numbers are limited, so call and book into the class of your choice today. Classes are held at our shop in Cheltenham, Victoria. Our Cheltenham and Toomuc Valley stores will be closed from Saturday 26th January to Monday 28th January for the Australia Day public holiday.  Our website will still be taking orders, however due to post office closures, orders will not be sent until Tuesday 29th January.

Do you have a pendant or flat stone that doesn't have a loop or hole suitable to thread it up? Consider using a bail - we have both glue on (pictured) and pinch bails. Glue on bails have a wide flat area to glue your piece into, and a large loop to thread onto your necklace. Pinch bails have a set of pinchers, to squeeze into the hole of a bead/pendant for when the direction of the hole isn't suitable.

Our original 'country' shop is located in picturesque Toomuc Valley, which is a beautiful rural area, with plenty of wildlife and trees in the surrounding areas. Those of us that work at the Toomuc store live further in the surrounding hills, in communities where fire preparation is an important part of life.  As such, we have decided that we will now be closing our Toomuc Store on CODE RED & EXTREME Fire Danger Days.

This does not affect our Cheltenham store hours at all, but may affect the speed in which we get internet orders to you (we pack all of our orders from our Toomuc store). We will advertise any closures on our website and on Facebook - if you're ever unsure if we are open on a particular day, please call us before coming out on (03) 5941 1671.
