Well we survived the footy fever here, but only just! As I breathe a sigh of relief, I am gleefully told that cricket starts soon enough - oh joy!
This month we have a fabulous monthly special - our Czech glass beads are on sale! We also have some super limited sale Swarovski - read on to find out more.
Gryffindor was happy with the AFL Grand Final results but super sad that the shop was closed for the weekend and he missed out on pats! Remember to keep an eye on our Facebook page to see posts of Gryffindor and general beady news!
October Monthly Special
Our high quality Czech glass beads and glass crystal beads are on sale this month - were $4 now only $1 per 25 gram
pack. Sale prices are available online and instore, until the 31st October - but take note that stock varies wildly between online and instore.

We have some fun new products this month, with rainbow chakra
colours playing a big part! Some new findings (check out the ball pins, such an elegant look) and our black cord is back in stock.
Super exciting though - I have been clearing out the back storeroom and have come across some of the older 5301 cut Swarovski. This is what predates the newer 5328 bicone and is still super sparkly. See below for what is available (and if I get a chance, I will list more in the SUPER SALE SWAROVSKI category
on our website). Note this stock is super limited and online only.

Melbourne Cup Public Holiday
Our Cheltenham and Toomuc Valley stores will be closed on Tuesday 5th November for the Melbourne Cup public holiday. We will be open on Saturday 2nd and Monday 4th as per normal. Our website will still be taking orders, however due to post office closures, orders will not be sent until Wednesday 6th.
|
| As of the 1st of November, it will be illegal for Eureka! Beads (along with all other Victorian retailers) to supply lightweight plastic shopping bags.
We have been promoting reusable shopping bags for years - if you're a local customers of ours, you will probably be aware of our Eureka! Loyalty Bag program - spend over $50 instore and be rewarded with a reusable bag (non sale/bulk items). Bring that bag back with you for discounts (conditions apply).
PLEASE remember to bring your reusable shopping bags with you when you head out the door - we don't wish to offend, but there are big fines associated with handing out plastic bags after the 1st November. And if you have one, bring your Eureka! Loyalty Bag to receive discounts at our shops!

| I'm now an Ultra Runner!
About a year ago I decided it was time to learn to run. I downloaded the "Couch to 5K" app and off I went! The very first training day had me alternating 30 seconds of running with 90 seconds of walking, and I nearly died.
I stuck with it though, and have slowly increased my distances, until I could run 5km without stopping, then 10km...
And last month I took on my biggest challenge to date - the Surf Coast Century 50km Ultramarathon. A standard marathon is 42.2km - anything over this distance is considered an "ultra" (prior to this run, my longest distance was 25km).
I'm never going to win any awards for speed, but I finished it despite the challenging conditions.
It just goes to show - you can do anything you put your mind to, so get out there and conquer your challenges!
